From the Lab to the Ballpark
The PLNU Biomechanics Lab team traded motion capture for ballpark views as they headed to Petco Park to cheer on the San Diego Padres during their playoff run.
Beyond sharing a love for baseball, PLNU and the Padres are connected through a unique partnership centered on the science of human movement. The PLNU + San Diego Padres Biomechanics Lab brings together research, technology, education, and professional athletics to better understand how athletes move and perform.
For the PLNU team, a night at the ballpark was an opportunity to step away from the lab, enjoy time together, and cheer on an organization they work alongside throughout the year! With a great crew, a San Diego sunset, and postseason baseball, it was a fitting way to celebrate the partnership beyond the lab.
