Karah Lain, M.F.A.
Karah Lain received her MFA from Oregon College of Art and Craft, and has shown her collage and painting work throughout the country in such locations as the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, Illinois, Third Room in Portland, Oregon, and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She has also served as an artist in residence at Portland Garment Factory and In Cahoots Residency, and as a University Fellow at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. She is currently Assistant Professor of Visual Art in Painting and Drawing at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Laurel Miller, MPAP, PA-C
Professor Miller is an experienced healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience working as a PA. She specializes in Emergency Medicine and has also worked in Family Medicine, Women's Health, and Urgent Care settings. She has worked in private practice, large community hospitals, as well as academic institutions. She and her husband pastor at Makers Church in San Diego and love spending time exploring and traveling with their three young kids. Professor Miller is proud to be a founding faculty member of the PLNU PA program.
