Elda Peralta, M.M.

Elda Peralta, native of Tijuana, Mexico, is known for her versatility in singing and teaching classical and commercial music styles. She is an experienced worship leader and songwriter, having worked as the Director of Worship & Music at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston from 2014-2017, and has lead worship and composed songs for the churches she has attended throughout her life. Peralta has been featured with many ensembles ranging from jazz quartets and big bands to “rondallas,” and in recitals and concerts from baroque to Mexican folk music styles.

PLNU Community Update: Fall 2020 Changes

Higher education institutions in California will not be allowed to move beyond virtual instructional modality until the state moves into Stage 3 of recovery. As such, PLNU has finalized its plan to begin the fall 2020 undergraduate semester remotely, on Monday, Aug. 17. 

July 10th Statement on Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SVEP) Guidelines

In our preparations for Fall 2020, PLNU has developed modified face-to-face and hybrid course models for our students, with some limited exceptions in our graduate and professional programs. This approach should place PLNU largely in compliance with the new Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SVEP) guidelines as recently issued and allow our international students to continue in their course of study.
