It can be a challenge to balance schoolwork with the many other demands of college life. That’s why we provide several resources to help make your transition to PLNU a smooth and successful one. We’ll make sure you’re equipped to handle it all — from choosing the right major and getting into all your classes to penning well-crafted term papers and nailing those final exams.
You can receive personalized advising and guidance toward the development of a meaningful academic plan and selection of a major (or majors) that are consistent with your educational, career, spiritual, and personal goals.
The Tutorial Center provides support and resources to promote your success in the classroom. The center offers free individual and small group tutorial sessions, special review sessions before several major exams, and other academic support services for all PLNU students.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center is committed to providing equal access to all curricular and co-curricular opportunities at PLNU. Regardless of learning, physical, medical, or psychological disabilities, we respect the needs of all people and work to ensure a spirit of equal opportunity for all students.
The Writer’s Studio provides an opportunity for you to work one-on-one with trained writing consultants. These consultants will guide you in your work, helping you assess and hone your writing skills. While each meeting is anchored around a specific written assignment and its successful completion, the focus is ultimately placed on helping you become a more confident, skilled, and self-sufficient writer and thinker.
