Nicole Morales, MAOL

In 2025, Professor Nicole Morales joined the Fermanian School of Business as an Adjunct Professor of Leadership. She has served PLNU for over a decade and currently leads campus-wide employee engagement and development efforts as the Director of Training and Development in Human Resources. Her previous roles include supporting graduate and accelerated students in Student Success from enrollment through graduation.

Suzanne Lair, MSA

Professor Suzanne Lair holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she graduated in 2005. With professional roots in public accounting, Suzanne began her career in auditing and tax roles at Ernst & Young and later at Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd, and Therrell, CPA. Transitioning into higher education, Suzanne has served as an adjunct professor at both San Diego Christian College and Point Loma Nazarene University, teaching courses in accounting and mathematics in both online and in-person formats.

Vassilis Dalakas, Ph.D.

Dr. Vassilis Dalakas joined the Fermanian School of Business in 2025 as Associate Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies and Professor of Marketing. He has previously taught at several universities in the United States and Europe. His primary areas of teaching and research include Sports Marketing, with a particular focus on Sports Partnerships and Sponsorships, and Consumer Behavior.

FSB Students Win 2nd Place at SDSU Social Venture Challenge
On March 21, 2025, a team of entrepreneurial students from the Fermanian School of Business showcased their creativity and social impact mindset at the SDSU Social Venture Challenge, hosted at San Diego State University’s Conrad Prebys Aztec Union Theatre. Presented by the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, the competition brought together students from five colleges and universities across Southern California to tackle real-world issues related to food security.

Melanie Hulbert, Ph.D.

Dr. Melanie Hulbert serves as the Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences, a role she assumed in 2025.
