Rachel Cherian

Professor Rachel Cherian earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a Masters in Teaching from PLNU. She is passionate about people, languages, and cultures. She enjoys working with a variety of ages and helping develop a person's full potential, whether it be in a mathematics or ministry setting. When not in the classroom she has worked on staff at churches in San Diego and Tijuana. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, music and traveling.

David Sathiaraj

David Sathiaraj is the Director of Data Science at Trabus Technologies where he leads an AI/ML and Data Science team. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Point Loma University and San Diego State University. Prior to that he held a faculty position in Data Science at Louisiana State University. His areas of research include applying AI/ML and Data Science on diverse domains such as Environmental Informatics, Maritime Transportation, Healthcare, Predictive Maintenance and Political Science.

Megan Weske, MSN, RN, ACCNS-AG

Megan Weske comes to PLNU with 12 years of critical care experience, functioning as a preceptor, nurse educator and CNS at Sharp Memorial Hospital. She followed her love of teaching and landed at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she also studied and attained her CNS degree in 2023. She feels excited and blessed to have the opportunity to join the community and team at the PLNU School of Nursing. Outside of teaching, she is kept busy with her 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter!

Austin Bacong, MS, PA-C

Professor Bacong is a San Diego native who grew up in Mira Mesa. He earned a BS in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Music from the University of California San Diego – Revelle College in 2015, and a MS in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2019. He then moved out to AZ while his wife completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University Glendale.
