Matthew K. Ewald, MPAS, PA-C
Professor Ewald is an experienced PA with over 14 years of experience in emergency medicine. He started his PA education over 10 years ago as an adjunct and has served as a preceptor, full time faculty member, and mentor. He also has clinical experience in telehealth and family medicine. Professor Ewald has served as a mentor to pre-PA students for years with an interest in curriculum content development, simulation, rubric development, and student-faculty wellness.
Amy Godwin, MSOT/OTR/L, BCPR, CAPS
Amy Godwin is an Occupational Therapist and Adjunct Professor who brings over 18 years of diverse clinical and patient care experience which includes acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient hand therapy, and neurological rehabilitation, with specialized interests in critical care, burn rehabilitation, and polytrauma. She currently serves as the Lead Occupational Therapist and Student Onboarding Coordinator at UCSD Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Hospital. Amy is an AOTA Board-Certified Specialist in Physical Rehabilitation (BCPR) and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).
