Welcome to Alumni Association
The PLNU Alumni Association exists to provide opportunities for alumni to stay involved, support the university, connect with other alumni, and interact with our students.
We are here to serve you and keep you connected!
Homecoming week is a great time to visit our beautiful campus, reconnect with friends, and meet current students. Join us every November during the week before Thanksgiving. Don't miss the opportunity to come home to your alma mater!
PLNU's university publication, the Viewpoint, seeks to contribute relevant and vital stories that grapple with life's profound questions from a uniquely Christian perspective, allowing for lifelong learning among students and alumni.
Alumni Mentor Program
The Alumni Mentor Program (AMP) is focused on providing opportunities for alumni to mentor and guide junior and senior students as they develop career aspirations. Mentors will be paired with students in their career fields for a one-on-one mentoring experience.
From job boards and interest groups to LinkedIn pages and career support, we offer you a number of resources to connect with our network of alumni living and working throughout the world.
What's New With You?
Share your most recent news, latest adventures, career milestones, or community involvement. We would love to hear about where you are and what you’ve been doing since graduation. Much of the news we receive is published in the Alum News section of the Viewpoint magazine.
Any and all communications and editorial content distributed by PLNU — including but not limited to printed materials and web content — is intended to inform and engage the PLNU community and others, while adhering to the university’s mission and values. During the creation, editing, and distributing of such content, the school will be guided by said values and principles.
While PLNU accepts editorial submissions from alumni and the broader community, the school reserves the right to edit or decline to print material at its discretion.
"The lifelong friendships I made at PLNU helped shape the path for the rest of my life. I have no doubt in my mind that God placed me on this campus to be transformed, and the amazing women I met here made that happen through their honesty, grace, and compassion. The community here does not compare to anything I have ever seen. Years later, we are all still best friends and will be for years and decades to come. PLNU taught me how to be disciplined while also showing grace to others — how to be professional, yet compassionate."

Nominate a Deserving Alumni
Anyone may nominate a Pasadena/Point Loma alum for an alumni award. There are two categories of awards: Alumnus of Point Loma Award and Distinguished Achievement Award. Nominations are compiled in July, recipients are chosen in August, and the awards are given during Homecoming weekend in November.Learn More
