Program Overview

Do you love music but want to pursue a major in another discipline? If so, a minor in music could be the perfect choice for you. PLNU music minors explore courses encompassing music theory, history, and the music of the world, among much more. A minor in music opens the door for you to fully embrace the coursework of your chosen major without sacrificing your passion or drive to refine your music skills.

As a music minor, you will have the same access to the deeply engaged and versatile curriculum our major students enjoy, and Music Department faculty will help you navigate the path to your true calling, and guide you as discover how an education in music will help you cultivate your passion to its full potential.
