Loyda nació en la hermosa ciudad de Ixtepec, Oaxaca, México. Egresada del Instituto Bíblico Nazareno del Sureste, con más de 20 años de experiencia en el ministerio pastoral en diferentes contextos del Sur de México y el Sur de los Estados Unidos de América. Es egresada del Instituto Bíblico Nazareno del Sureste y de la Facultad de Teología Internacional. Obtuvo su Maestría en Divinidades en la Universidad Azusa Pacific (APU) y actualmente está terminando su último año doctoral en la Universidad de Fuller.

Rosemond T. Lorona, Ph.D.

Rosemond Lorona came to PLNU in 2019 after earning her M.A. and Ph.D in social psychology from Baylor University. Her research explores how people think and feel about themselves and others, and how religiosity intersects with these perceptions. Her current work focuses on how people perceive and engage in religious or spiritual struggles. She is also passionate about studying mental health stigma and how religious beliefs may influence attitudes about mental illness and treatment. Dr.
