Home to the College of Health Sciences’ master’s program, the state-of-the-art Balboa campus includes a Clinical Skills Laboratory, Center for Human Performance, and Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) simulation lab designed to help give students practical training to make a holistic impact in San Diego.

Meanwhile, people continue to experience deteriorating physical and mental health, increasingly stressful living conditions, unrealistic societal expectations, and a growing disconnect from realizing their full potential and innate purpose. The time has come to evolve from simply surviving day-to-day life to truly thriving in all facets of life—physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and socially.

Jarret Welsh

Jarret Welsh was already an established chiropractor working with professional teams and athletes when he realized his dream of teaching. Despite all his education and experience, however, he still lacked the certification to actually teach. That's when he turned to Point Loma for its relational and evidence-based kinesiology program — to not only help others learn from his experience, but transform the larger culture of kinesiology.
