Health Sciences for Long Term Impact

PLNU’s College of Health Sciences (CHS) offers a wide range of degrees designed to help students improve the health and well-being of their communities. Our programs seek to challenge students to think critically and authentically and develop meaningful, practical experience as they engage the world. Many of our programs are based at our Balboa Regional Center campus, but we also offer a number of programs that are hybrid or 100% online.

The Carolyn W. Thomas Memorial Olympic Poster Collection is a gallery of nearly 200 pieces of Olympic poster art, showcasing the world's most highly sought-after posters from the Olympic Games. These posters are a celebration of the athleticism, spirit, and global unity of the Olympic Games, and are a must-see for any enthusiast. This collection has been entrusted to PLNU to preserve their legacy for the enjoyment and education of future generations. These posters are displayed throughout the College of Health Sciences' Balboa Regional Center campus.

Becoming an expert in human health doesn't just happen within the walls of a classroom — it’s developed through practical experience, internships, and clinical partnerships with hospitals, clinics, therapy offices, training centers, and more throughout San Diego’s burgeoning health sciences industry. These real-world experiences are strengthened by the ability to network and seek mentorship within PLNU’s community of current students, alumni, and faculty.
